Kunze Gallery Studio is the working space of artist Sandy Kunze and features the artwork of her son, Brody Kunze. Visitors will find finished paintings, ceramics, and sculptures alongside works in progress, offering a glimpse into the process and the evolving practices of both artists.
The space changes constantly as work is created, completed, sold, collected, or simply moved aside to make room for the next idea. What you encounter is not a carefully arranged presentation but an honest reflection of two artists actively engaged in their practice.

Many of my paintings begin on location, shaped by weather, landscape, atmosphere, and experience. The studio is where ideas are revisited, layers are added, and works find their final form. Here, finished works share space with new ideas, ongoing projects, and pieces awaiting their next destination.
This is not a traditional gallery. It is a working studio. Paintings may be hanging on the walls, stacked in inventory, drying on an easel, or still searching for their final direction. Clay vessels may be in progress, fresh from the kiln, or quietly recording conversations that unfolded as they were built.

Brody creates his granite sculptures offsite where the dust and noise belong. Once polished and complete, they make their way up the hill to the Kunze Gallery Studio and surrounding grounds, where visitors are often among the first to experience them before they find their permanent homes.
